In Maryland, a Case Manager Delegating Nurse (CMDN) in an assisted living facility has a broad range of responsibilities that include the following: resident assessment and care plan development, clinical supervision and support, quality assurance, and staff training. The CMDN contracts with assisted living facility for the above in addition to the 45 day assessments, admissions, return post hospitalization and on call duty.
